Nigeria returned to civil rule in May 1999 after 16 years of military rule. Four elections had generally been held in 1999, 2003, 2007 and 2011. How has civil rule fair? Can we be regarded as a democratic nation or just a nation merely experiencing 'civilian rule'?
We are just the second option, A nation that is experiencing democracy not that we are democratic nation per se but we are in learning process because from the look of things and turn of events since the advent of our so called democracy it has not recorded any tangible change, truth must be told. cheekena!

What we have is a civilian rule! People are hand-picked into positions, voters don`t count so votes do not count! Separation of powers in Nigeria is nil. They are all united in stealing the country blind! The ruling PDP and all the other political parties do not have even a semblance of internal democratic norms so how can anyone expect anything better in Nigeria? As sad as this is, we must all resolve to make a positive change come 2015 or else...
